Election Update: On November 16, 2018, the Maryland Board of Elections declared Deb Jung (D) the winner of her Howard County Council - District 4 race with 70.4% of the vote. Unofficial results show that she secured 20,187 votes to her Republican opponent’s 8,457 votes (29.5%). District 4 includes Columbia Town Center, West Columbia, and parts of Clarksville, Fulton, Highland, Skaggsville, and North Laurel.

Her victory is part of a Blue Wave in Howard County resulting in, among other things, Democrat Calvin Ball winning the County Executive race and the election of three other new Democratic County Council members. Thanks to all of Deb’s volunteers and supporters who helped her achieve this huge victory! Most of all, heartfelt thanks to the voters of Howard County for their confidence in her.
